So I hardly ever leave reviews, but I’ve been using these towels for a little over a month now and I feel like they actually deserve one.

I’ve had on and off acne for years and always assumed it was just my skin or hormones or whatever. But I started seeing videos talking about how gross regular towels can get, especially if you’re using the same one to dry your body and face and it kind of clicked for me. I was drying my clean skin with something that had been sitting damp in the bathroom for days.

I bought these just to try them, not expecting much. They’re surprisingly soft. like, way softer than I thought a disposable towel would be. Not scratchy or paper towel-y at all. I use one every night after washing my face. It honestly feels kind of nice to dry off with something that I know is clean.

And maybe it’s a coincidence, but my skin has been noticeably calmer. I still get the occasional breakout, but those random clusters I used to get around my jawline have gone down a lot. I haven’t changed much else, so I’m assuming it has something to do with this.

I also like not having to think about whether I need to wash a towel or if it’s clean enough. I just grab one, use it, and toss it. Feels kind of like one less thing to stress about in my routine.

Only downside is I wish the box was easier to open... I had to basically rip it open the first time. Not a big deal, but something to improve maybe.

I never thought a pillowcase could make such a difference, but after using the pureskin silk pillowcase for the past month, I’m genuinely impressed. I’ve struggled with acne for years, especially those stubborn breakouts along my cheeks and jawline. I’ve changed up my skincare routine countless times, but never really considered how much my pillowcase was contributing to the problem.

I’m not claiming this pillowcase magically cured my acne (I’m still working on diet, stress, etc.), but I have noticed significantly fewer breakouts since switching. I used to wake up with little bumps around my face, and that’s basically stopped. I also realized my old pillowcase was probably full of bacteria and hair product... gross right? Knowing this one is anti-bacterial and made from high-quality silk makes me feel a lot better about what my skin is touching for 8 hours a night.

Another small thing: it doesn’t tug at my skin or leave those pillow lines I used to get. I’m in my late 30s and trying to be more mindful of aging, so anything that helps protect my skin barrier is a win in my book.
